Who, what & why?
My name is Artjom Kutuzov, and photography is my way of perceiving and feeling the world and life itself. I work at the intersection of documentary and fine art photography, preserving fleeting moments that leave a lasting impression or capturing shapes that depict the monumentalism of an event, feeling, or environment.
A few words about my journey. I was accepted to the 1x.com curated section and was rejected from a local gallery because they didn’t believe that I made my photos when I was a teenager. I was published at the biggest local photographic equipment store’s blog as an author and at one of the biggest online news agencies in the country. Later, my work was accepted to Photo Vogue, nominated at the Autori Foto Narva biennial, and the FAPA awards.
My experience is not limited to art photography, and I have extensive experience in commercial photography, such as:
- advertising projects
- wedding photography
- food photography
- school albums
- shoots for model agencies
- shooting projects in foreign countries such as Norway, USA, Japan
